Looking for a Perfect Trip

Rod Johnson

This is a record about places, and circumstances. Where you wish you weren’t and where you wish you were. Leaving home, coming home, staying home, missing home. Going somewhere, going nowhere, having nowhere to go, and wishing, somehow, you could find a perfect place, a perfect person, a perfect trip.

My first record, from 2019. What did I say about it then? Ah yes... "16 energetic, soulful songs about love, space, madness and dishware." That pretty much covers it.

This was a long time a-borning, and I had the help of some brilliant friends making it a reality.
